We are Big Spots Cattery, founded to raise Desert Lynx Cats and Kittens in accordance with breed standards established by the Desert Lynx Cat Association.

These cats are a fantastic option for pet owners who are drawn to the wild beauty of the Bengal, Domestic Lynx, Bobcat, and other large exotic cats but who are not prepared to deal with the wild nature of these cats. Often owners of these breeds find that as the kittens mature, they are not compatible with indoor domestic living and become dangerous to handle.

Our Desert Lynx cats have the wild physical attributes of the exotic breeds, but they have the sweet natures of domestic house cats. The breed was developed from manx, lynx, bobcat, pixie bob and bobcat. They are friendly, playful and cuddly. These are indoor house cats that look like wild exotic cats. their outdoor cattery complete with heat for the winter and a large screened enclosure for outdoor enjoyment.
